Floor 2

The "Mutate" room was our 2nd floor (in the University's "Pulse room") playing Alternative electronic music: Mainly Industrial and EBM (Electronic Body Music), with the occasional Hard Dance, Electro and Trance tunes.

We had the last ever Mutate in June 2013 which for 15 years had been a fantastic room of Industrial, EBM and harder dance styles at The Wendy House. We’d all noticed that far less people were coming to it and dancing, so we all decided that Mutate should go out on a high. Both DJs Gillywoo and Geoff took the opportunity to retire as DJs and all of us at The Wendy House thank them hugely for all the amazing industrial parties they’ve created.
