Floor 2: Request driven Metal:

We're very request friendly, if it's metal, ask us and we'll try and play your tracks.

From October 19th 2013 we have a new 2nd floor in Leeds University’s Pulse room, replacing our old Mutate room. We’re calling it our “Metal Shed”, specialising in metal and generally playing harder stuff than in the main room. We welcome the new resident DJ Migsy, who has filled Metal dance floors at several clubs in the north of England. We’ve noticed from recent requests that people want more metal and we’ve been listening. 

As for the loss of the Mutate room, we intend to play a bit more electronic music, including some EBM and industrial in the main room along-side all the other great alternative music we already play. It will introduce the music to a wider audience and make the night a truly unique one. There’s also room to play more guitar based industrial in the new 2nd room. As always we’ll take requests and adapt the night according to the dance floor reaction.
