Disney conveyor belt Sci-Fi

The sequel, prequel and spin off factory is open

Disney has Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel. It's a massive monopoly player in cultural artefacts, and it knows it. With Star Wars 7, 8, 9 (and spin offs) and multiple Marvel super hero films, it can ensure it's owned franchises release blockbuster after blockbuster every year.

When do we get epic fatique? When does the annual releases get so hum drum and regular we lose interest and our much loved worlds become devalued?

Does this mega monopoly threaten a type of cultural over consumption? When does the fan good will get exhasted? When will people get bored of the hype machine? Is it a Sci-Fi bubble waiting to burst?

Is that a lot of rhetorical questions?
